The Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen is issuing a boil water notice for customers of the Sun Valley water system in the southeast area of Okanagan Falls.
A recent power outage resulted in a loss of system pressure.
Residents may see some discolouration or sediment in the water. If so, cold water should be run through the tap until the water clears up.
Residents are advised to use a safe alternate source of water or to boil water for at least one minute before drinking or brushing teeth.
