Calgary Stampeders claim first place in West Division

The Calgary Stampeders have clinched first place in the West Division and will host the Western Final on Sunday, Nov. 19 at McMahon Stadium.

The Stamps officially locked up top spot in the division as a result of the Blue Bombers’ loss against the Toronto Argonauts on Saturday.

The Stamps have finished at the top of the West in four of the past five seasons with 14 division titles since the start of the 1990 season.

The team is back in action Saturday when the red-and-white travel to Edmonton to face the Eskimos.
