Extreme weather is the new normal in this country. Environment Canada says warming trends across the country will mean more severe blasts of rain, wind, snow and heat. It says 2012 was the 16th year in a row that saw higher than normal temperatures across Canada. In the past year, various parts of the country have seen intense heat waves, extreme flooding and damaging hurricanes. Here’s a look some extreme or severe weather events around the world this week.
