A senior in Bobcaygeon, Ont., who had been missing since Thursday morning, has been located
Peterborough County OPP reported that 90-year-old Kenneth Bruce Bartley was located around 10:30 a.m. Friday following an extensive ground and air search both Thursday and this morning.
“Mr. Bartley was located and appears to be in good health,” OPP stated.
Bartley was reported missing around 6 p.m. Thursday when he failed to show up to a family dinner. He had been last seen in the area of Ellwood Cres. around 10 a.m. and was believed to be on foot heading towards the Moonline Road area.
A search of the area utilizing the OPP’s Central Region Emergency Response Team (ERT) and a canine unit was launched. The search was suspended after midnight due to darkness, police said.
Residents were asked to check their properties and outbuildings such as barns.
