Missing man’s body pulled from southern Alberta’s McGregor Lake

The body of a 27-year-old High River man who went missing at the end of September while fishing on McGregor Lake has been found.

Four men were fishing on Sept. 30 when their boat capsized in rough conditions.

Two of the men were picked up by a passing boater, while another managed to swim to shore for safety.

RCMP in Vulcan say he was found after a search that involved multiple first responders and local community members who assisted in the search.

The name of the man has not been released.
