Man with gunshot wound not random: Prince Albert police

An 18-year-old man is in critical condition after a shooting late Sunday night in Prince Albert, Sask.

Prince Albert police were called to a weapons complaint in the 1900-block of 2nd Avenue West at around 11:55 p.m. CT on Oct. 8.

Officers arrived to find the man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to hospital where he remains in critical condition.

No arrests have been made at this time.

Police said the shooting does not appear to be a random act of violence.
