Prince Albert, Sask. woman charged in fatal Highway 2 hit and run

A Prince Albert, Sask., woman has been charged in a fatal hit and run.

Patricia Lee Sewap, 34, is charged with failing to remain at the scene of an accident causing death and public mischief.

The charges were laid after a man was killed on Highway 2 just north of Prince Albert on Sept. 8.

A 58-year-old Montreal Lake man was declared dead at the scene after being struck by a vehicle.

Prince Albert RCMP have not released his name.

Sewap has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Prince Albert provincial court on Oct. 30.
