Alberta election 2017: Parkland County results

Rod Shaigec was re-elected as mayor of Parkland County, according to unofficial results released Monday night. Shaigec had 2,794 votes, more than double the next candidate, Donald J. Heron.

AnnLisa Jensen, Jackie McCuaig, Phyllis Kobasiuk, Darrell Hollands, John McNab and Tracey Melnyk have been elected to council.

The county results say there were 4,628 ballots cast, which translates to a voter turnout of 20.45 per cent.
