PICKERING, Ont. – Police say a 32-year-old Whitby man has died of injuries he suffered in a crash in Pickering late Friday night.
They say the man’s B-M-W collided with a truck with a woodchipper trailer attached on Lake Ridge Road.

Investigators say the truck and trailer had been parked on the gravel shoulder of the road at the time of the crash.
An air ambulance was dispatched to transport the car driver to hospital, however, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver and passenger of the truck were not in the vehicle when the collision occurred and were not injured.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation, and the name of the deceased has not been released.
