About 200 people came out Thursday afternoon to celebrate with Global Okanagan as we broadcast our 60th anniversary show live at Stuart Park in Kelowna.
Global Okanagan went on the air as CHBC Television Sept. 21, 1957 when there were only 500 TV sets in the Okanagan Valley and the entire population was around 30,000.
