Inn from the Cold is also asking for community support as donations of size 5 and 6 diapers,” the group said in a statement on Tuesday. “Other baby supplies and new towels are needed.”

The organization operates Journey House, a supported housing program for single mothers and their children that’s made up of nine units.

A second building, which will have 10 larger units for families along with a family resource centre, has also been bought by Inn from the Cold. It’s set to open in fall 2017.
