Man wanted by Turnor Lake RCMP caught by Saskatoon police

A man who was wanted by Turnor Lake RCMP in northern Saskatchewan has been caught.

Gavin Patrick Montgrand, 19, escaped from the detachment on July 25 after he had been arrested.

A warrant was issued for his arrest for escaping lawful custody.

In a release on Sept. 1, Mounties said Montgrand had been arrested earlier that day by Saskatoon police.

He has made his first court appearance and will make another court appearance on Sept. 7.
