Macklemore surprises his grandmother with ‘Glorious’ music video

Macklemore is all about family.

The rapper released his new music video for his song Glorious and in it, he treats his grandmother Helen to a day of being treated like a queen.

Macklemore shows up unannounced at his grandmother’s house in California to celebrate her milestone birthday. Helen turned 100 and her grandson makes sure she celebrates it properly.

When he shows up at the door, his grandmother says he got her all emotional. Us too, Helen. He then tells her he’s going to take her anywhere she wants and do anything she wants to do. “Oh God, I want to do it all,” she says, and so they do.

The two make for an adorable duo and get into some crazy hijinks. They egg a neighbour’s house, go shoe shopping, hit up a karaoke bar and then play some arcade games, too.

It wouldn’t be a Macklemore video if he didn’t treat her to a shopping spree at a thrift shop, of course.
