A woman who lives on the third floor of the apartment building told Global News she called 911 shortly before 4 a.m. Thursday after hearing a “real bad noise down there that was not good.”

“Everything’s banging in my place, my doors and everything, from all the ruckus down there,” she said. “Smashing, banging, screaming, yelling.

“It’s quite scary because it’s happening right underneath my nose.”
