The Queen and Prince William were greeted with applause when they visited a relief centre in West London to meet with the survivors of the Grenfell Tower tragedy this morning.
According to the BBC, the Queen and William visited the Westway Centre in White City to meet with local residents, the Emergency Services and community representatives, where survivors are currently staying and volunteers are helping sort clothes donated to victims.

Their visit to the Westway Sports centre comes after police say some of those killed in the fire may never be identified.
The fire has claimed the lives of 30 people with a reported 76 people still missing as a result of the blaze.

The visit also comes hours after the Duchess of Cornwall paid tribute to the victims of the tragedy.
While attending the final of a children’s creative writing competition on BBC Radio 2, Camilla said: “I’m sure all of you here today would like to join me in sending our heartfelt thoughts and prayers to the victims, their families and friends, who were so tragically involved in the horrific fire in North Kensington.”
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry have already made personal donations to the Evening Standard’s emergency appeal.

Buckingham Palace released a statement from the Queen on Thursday, commending the “incredible generosity” of volunteers in London.
“My thoughts and prayers are with those families who have lost loved ones in the Grenfell Tower fire and the many people who are still critically ill in hospital,” the Queen’s statement read. “Prince Philip and I would like to pay tribute to the bravery of firefighters and other emergency services officers who put their own lives at risk to save others.”
