The homeowners told police they were threatened with firearms and a knife before the suspects stole thousands of dollars worth of cigarettes being stored there.
One suspect was seen leaving the scene in a new model, silver, four-door Nissan Altima.
Video footage captured two of the five suspects on camera. One of the suspects on the video was identified and an arrest warrant was issued for 21-year-old Brandon Regamey, from the nearby village of Wabamun.
On Tuesday, RCMP arrested Regamey. He has been charged with break and enter to a residence and theft over $5,000, possession of a weapon for the purpose of committing an offence, use of a firearm while committing an indictable offence, pointing a firearm without lawful excuse, robbery using a firearm, and uttering a threat to cause death or bodily harm.
Regamey remains in police custody and is scheduled to appear in Stony Plain provincial court on June 21.
The second suspect is still being sought. He is described as having a thick build with short brown hair and brown eyes. He is clean shaven and was wearing red shorts, a red t-shirt, black gloves and black and red runners.
