A man and woman are facing drug possession charges after a home search in Lower Sackville on Wednesday.
RCMP say the Integrated Guns and Gangs Unit searched a home on Manor Drive yesterday and found marijuana, “shatter,” drug paraphernalia, cash and two long guns, which were then seized by police.
As a result, a 40-year-old man and 46-year-old woman, both from Lower Sackville, were arrested without incident.
Both are facing charges of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, unauthorized possession of a firearm, possession of a firearm knowing possession is unauthorized, and unsafe storage of a firearm.
Both were released from custody and are scheduled to appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court July 18.
Police say the investigation is continuing.
