Five people are facing numerous charges after a high-risk search of a home in Prince Albert, Sask.

The search was executed Tuesday afternoon at the home in the 100-block of 25th Street East.

Four people were outside the house when members of the Prince Albert police tactical unit, along with the integrated street enforcement team and the combined forces special enforcement unit members, surrounded it.

Three people were immediately arrested while a fourth person attempted to flee on foot.

He was caught by a police dog and taken into custody.

People inside the house then surrendered to police.

The house was searched and police seized a sawed-off bolt action .410-bore shotgun, a sawed-off double-barrel .410-bore shotgun and a 12-gauge shotgun, along with ammunition.

Two men from the Flying Dust First Nation, 18 and 27, two Prince Albert men, 21 and 22, and a 16-year-old youth from La Ronge are facing numerous gun charges.

They are scheduled to appear Wednesday in Prince Albert provincial court.
