Thieves make off with cash, cigarettes in Saskatoon armed robbery

Saskatoon police officer are looking for three people after an armed robbery on Wednesday evening.

Two women and a man entered a business in the 900-block of Northumberland Avenue at around 8:30 p.m. CT. and demand cash and goods.

They fled with an undisclosed amount of money and cigarettes.

Around a half-hour before the robbery, two women entered a business in the 2200-block of Rayner Avenue and demanded cash.

They fled with nothing.

No injuries were reported in either case.

In both instances, the women were wearing dark clothing and had bandanas covering their faces.

One woman was wearing sunglasses and was armed with a gun.

The other woman had a knife.

The man was dressed in black and also had a bandana covering his face.
