Janet Jackson splits from husband Wissam Al Mana three months after birth of their first child

Janet Jackson and her husband, Qatari business magnate Wissam Al Mana, have split after five years of marriage, with ET confirming the couple’s decision to go their separate ways.

The two recently welcomed their first child, baby boy Eissa, back in early January. Jackson, 50, and her husband are said to have agreed that things weren’t working and opted to break up — according to TMZ.

Al Mana is the executive director of Qatar-based conglomerate Al Mana Group, which operates over 300 outlets in automotive distribution and services, real estate and investments, retail, food and beverage, engineering, technology, media and entertainment.

The business mogul is believed to be worth just under one billion dollars, according to Daily Mail, and had an estimated networth of $1 billion in 2016.

This is Jackson’s third marriage. The That’s The Way Love Goes singer first married James DeBarge in 1984, but split after a year. She was then married to Rene Elizondo Jr. from 1991 to 2000.

Jackson and Al Mana tied the knot in 2012.
