Two people are in custody after a homicide in Prince Albert, Sask.

Police officers were called to the 300-block of 9th Street East at around 1:20 a.m. CT on Wednesday to assist Parkland Ambulance paramedics with an unresponsive man.

A 34-year-old man was declared dead after succumbing to injuries he had received.

His name and the cause of death have not been released.

Two people have been taken into custody. No charges have been laid at this time.

Members of the criminal investigation division and the forensic identification unit of the Prince Albert Police Service continue to investigate.
