Alberta man wanted for uttering threats against Stony Plain student turns himself in

An 18-year-old man has turned himself in after he was wanted on a warrant for uttering threats toward a student west of Edmonton.

Jeremy Lefebvre turned himself into the Stony Plain RCMP on Monday. He is now facing several charges, including two counts of uttering threats, following an incident earlier this month that led to a lockdown at Memorial Composite High School in Stony Plain.

One day later, on Dec. 2, RCMP issued a warrant for the arrest of Lefebvre, also known as Jeremy Krause.

Lefebvre will appear in Stony Plain Provincial Court on Jan. 25, 2017.
