There was a heavy police presence at a Halifax post office for much of Saturday.
Shortly before 10 a.m., Halifax Regional Police say a worker at Canada Post on Almon Street contacted them after finding a suspicious powder on the floor by the mail sorter.
Police officers, as well as fire officials quickly responded to the post office.

After some time, forensic investigators were able to determine that the suspicious powder was in fact, protein powder.
The investigation is now complete and operations at the post office have resumed.
