“We have a real interest in getting people increasingly onto the water, so we’re open to ideas for tour boats… And any other marine based use that folks have come up with,” Angel said.

She said in the past kiosks have opened as early as March. But this year with construction downtown, they hope to open kiosks early in June.

There will be another proposal for market-like opportunities later in the season

The tenders are subject to a five year contract and close Jan. 17.
