Motorists heading to and from the South Shore over the weekend are being warned to avoid the Jacques-Cartier Bridge.
The bridge will be completely closed overnight both Friday and Sunday from 11:30 p.m. to 4 a.m. as work is done to replace bearings.

One outbound lane and two inbound lanes will be open between 4 a.m. and 6 p.m. Saturday and between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday.
The bridge corporation said the closures are necessary to ensure the safety of users and workers during the repairs.
