2 masked men with gun steal candy, cash from Saskatoon convenience store

Police are asking the public for help identifying the two masked men who stole items from a Saskatoon convenience store on Friday.

At around 11:42 p.m. CT, officers were called to an armed robbery where a firearm was brandished in the 3700-block of Diefenbaker Drive.

Candy, cigarettes and an undisclosed amount of cash were stolen by two suspects who then fled on foot.

No injuries were reported.

A police dog attempting to track the men but was unsuccessful. Several stolen items were recovered by police, along with the firearm.

Both suspects are described as wearing dark clothing, face masks and black gloves.
