A woman was rushed to hospital with serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle while crossing Ellis Street.
RCMP say the 40-year-old woman was in the crosswalk, heading east when a grey Toyota Tundra pickup truck making a left-hand turn off of Leon Avenue hit her.
Both the pedestrian and the truck were entering the intersection on a green light.
The driver of the pick-up, a 35-year-old woman, remained at the scene and co-operated with investigators.
The investigation is ongoing, and police are looking for additional witnesses.
