A long-term inmate at the Saskatoon Regional Psychiatric Centre has died.

Correctional Service Canada officials said Thomas Henry Settee, 73, was taken to hospital Wednesday evening where he was pronounced dead.

His family has been notified.

Settee had been serving an indeterminate sentence since 1968 for non-capital murder, assault causing bodily harm, possession of property obtained by crime and robbery.

Correctional Service Canada will be reviewing the circumstances of Settee’s death.
