Serious south Edmonton crash sends woman to hospital

Edmonton police shut down the intersection at 51 Avenue and 107 Street for several hours Wednesday night following a serious two-vehicle crash.

Police said the collision occurred just after 9 p.m. and that investigators are still working to determine what happened.

According to police, one woman was rushed to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The intersection reopened ahead of Thursday’s morning commute.
