Costco has officially opened its second location in Saskatoon.

The doors opened Thursday morning at the new location on Market Drive in the southeast corner of the city.

“With the opening of this new warehouse, we can be closer to and better serve our members who, in the past, needed to travel to our busy location on Marquis Drive West,” Russ Miller, the senior vice president and general manager of Costco in Western Canada, said.

Costco officials said this will not only benefit small- and medium-size businesses, but also consumers.

“Costco members are always looking for great value,” Shane Bollenbach, the general manager of the new location, said.
