UPDATE: Police confirm that Victoria Mary Lorraine Cassidy was located safe and sound.
Halifax Regional Police are asking for the public’s help locating a missing 24-year-old woman.
Victoria Mary Lorraine Cassidy was last seen on Oct. 25 in the 2100 block of Barrington Street in Halifax when she boarded a Metro Transit Bus bound for Dartmouth with a friend. She was reported missing to police on Nov. 2.

Cassidy is described as an aboriginal woman, 5’4″, with a medium to heavy build. She has hazel eyes and long blonde hair. Cassidy was last seen wearing a green hooded jacket, dark coloured pants and beige boots. She was carrying a beige coloured shoulder bag.

Police say there is no evidence to suggest that Cassidy has met with foul play but there is concern for her well-being. Anyone with information is asked to contact Halifax Police or Crime Stoppers.
