A 46-year-old man was killed in a highway crash in southern Alberta on Tuesday.
Emergency crews were called to Highway 2 north of 466 Avenue East, near High River, at around 7:15 a.m. The highway was closed for more than six hours while RCMP investigated.
RCMP said the collision involved a grain truck and two other vehicles, all of which were travelling northbound.
According to EMS, an adult male was pronounced dead at the scene. He had been driving a sedan involved in the crash.
A woman in her 60s, who had been driving an SUV, was rushed to the Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the third vehicle was uninjured.
An RCMP collision analyst is working to determine what caused the collision. Investigators do not believe alcohol was a factor.

The town of High River is located about 70 kilometres south of Calgary.
