WINNIPEG — It’s been a rather mild lead-up to Halloween in Winnipeg, but the weather is about to change.
The weekend will usher in more seasonal temperatures leaving us cooler, but on the plus side there will be a bit more sunshine.
Our normal daytime high for this time of year is 5 C with a low of -4 C.
Friday remains gloomy with drizzle and/or rain present for much of the day.

Winds will pick up out of the northwest and it’ll be a cooler evening than we’ve experienced as of lately.

Now, let’s talk about Halloween.
Current models suggest another low pressure system moving in on Monday – and along with it rain.
How much at this point isn’t clear; it looks to last for much of the day and into the evening when trick-or-treaters are out and about.
Either way, prepare to take an umbrella with you just in case.
