Former councillor Brad Johns applied for the recount after Blackburn edged him out of his seat by a mere 47 votes. The recount did not change that result.

District 14 includes Middle and Upper Sackville.

Two more recounts are pending after a couple of tight races raised questions immediately following the election.

Andrew Curran is contesting his narrow loss to incumbent Russell Walker in District 10. That recount is expected to happen on Nov. 1.

Linda Mosher has also asked for a recount after losing her District 9 seat to Shawn Cleary. That recount has yet to be scheduled.
