The new contract includes an annual 1.5 per cent wage increase for each year of the agreement.

Mayor Mike Savage said in a statement, “I am pleased that we were able to come to a fair and equitable contract that represents hard work by both bargaining teams.”

The contract is retroactive effective from Nov. 1, 2015 until Oct. 31, 2017.
