Police have charged a pickup truck driver in connection with a deadly crash on Edmonton’s ring road earlier this month.
Shortly before 7 a.m. on Oct. 7, police were called to a crash involving two pickup trucks on Anthony Henday Drive between Lessard Road and Callingwood Road.
Police said they were told a Dodge Ram headed south on the Henday crossed the centre median into oncoming traffic and collided with a Ford F-150.

A 31-year-old man who was driving the Ford was rushed to hospital where he was declared dead. The driver of the Dodge suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
On Monday, police said the driver of the Dodge – 44-year-old Tony Thibodeau – was charged with careless driving under the Traffic Safety Act.
They said speed and alcohol are not believed to be factors in the crash.
