A 55-year-old Toronto man has been charged in connection with an alleged sexual assault at the TTC’s Bay subway station earlier this year.
Police said the incident occurred around 5 p.m. on Aug. 31 when a 25-year-old woman standing on the westbound platform was approached by a man, who then sexually assaulted her.
Officers said she managed to push him away and get on a train.
Police are concerned there might be other victims.
Edward Russell Adams, 55, of Toronto has been charged with one count of sexual assault and three counts of failure to comply with probation.
He appeared at a Toronto court Friday morning.
