A 23-year-old man was killed after a shooting in Etobicoke early Monday morning.
Toronto police responded to a call of gunshots just before 1 a.m. in the area of Dixon Road and Kipling Road.
Soon after, officers were told a vehicle had crashed into a home on Windsor Road near St. Andrews Boulevard.
Police say they located a male, identified as Mohamed Omer, inside a SUV suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
There’s no word yet on any suspects and the investigation is ongoing.

The death is Toronto’s 56th homicide of the year.
