In Photos: Zombies take over Edmonton’s river valley for annual fun run

Hundreds of Edmontonians were on the run from some frightening competitors at the 2016 Zombie Evasion Run Saturday.

Participants ran a 5-kilometre course while trying to evade dozens of zombies hiding along the way.

All money raised at the event will go towards the University of Alberta Campus Food Bank.

Organizers also hope to collect and donate 600 lbs of food.

The event is hosted by MultiSport Canada and is now into it’s fourth year.

250 people took part in the run.
