A man is recovering in a Saskatoon hospital after being stabbed multiple times.

Police were called to an apartment in the 2000-block of 20th Street West at around 3 p.m. CT on Wednesday.

Officers found a 31-year-old man suffering from multiple stab wounds.

He was taken to hospital by paramedics for treatment of what police said are non-life threatening injuries.

Police said the victim and the suspect are known to each other based on their preliminary investigation.

Members of the targeted enforcement unit continue to investigate.
