Penticton RCMP say they received a report last week of a young girl being stalked by a creepy clown.
It happened last Wednesday shortly before 8 p.m. on Yorkton Avenue where the female was walking home and noticed someone wearing a clown suit and mask.
The girl told police the clown followed her a short distance but didn’t say anything.
RCMP say they have no plans to investigate because the clown never threatened the girl or appeared to have any weapons.
They say the girl has been offered counselling if she requires it.
