LIVE BLOG: B.C storm wreaks havoc across south coast

Thousands are without power across the B.C. south coast as ferries are cancelled, TransLink routes are disrupted, traffic is in peril, and at least one person has been injured by a falling tree.

With winds reaching over 80 km/h in some parts of Metro Vancouver Friday afternoon and 90 km/h on Vancouver Island, the region is in full storm mode. Another powerful storm is expected to hit the region Saturday.
