Man found in north Edmonton alley rushed to hospital with gunshot wound

Police are investigating after a man was found with a shotgun wound in the north Edmonton community of Calder Thursday morning.

They said officers responded to reports of shots fired near 127 Avenue and 118 Street at around 5:15 a.m.

The victim was discovered near an alley and was rushed to hospital in serious but non-life-threatening condition.

According to police, the victim is not co-operating with their investigation at this point.

Police said they do not have a suspect description at this time.
