Fentanyl pills, cash seized in Saskatoon drug bust

Three men are facing trafficking charges after police seized fentanyl pills in a Saskatoon drug bust.

The bust happened on Oct. 7 when investigators with the Saskatoon integrated drug enforcement street team (SIDEST) saw what they believed to be a drug transaction taking place behind a business in the 1600-block of 20th Street West.

Two men, 25 and 26, were arrested and police said they seized fentanyl pills and cash.

Police then searched a home in the 2000-block of Wilson Crescent where they said they seized more cash and what they are calling drug “score sheets.”

A 52-year-old man was arrested.

Investigators said they seized a total of 21 pills and over $8,300 in cash.

All three, who have not been named, are facing drug trafficking and possession charges, along with possession of the proceeds of crime.
