Toronto man facing cocaine trafficking charges in Prince Albert, Sask.

Prince Albert, Sask., police say three people are facing drug charges after they executed a search warrant in the city last week.

At around 4 p.m. CT on Oct. 6, members of the integrated street enforcement team (ISET) searched a home in the 500-block of 28th Street East.

ISET officers said they seized 157.9 grams of cocaine, $2,885 in cash and a .45-calibre Colt handgun.

Two men and a woman were arrested.

A 23-year-old Toronto man is facing charges that include possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, firearm offences, assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest. He made his first court appearance last week.

A 42-year-old woman and 30-year-old man are scheduled to make their first court appearance in Prince Albert provincial court on Oct. 19.
