Fire destroys pharmacy in Bengough, Sask.

The drug store in Bengough, Sask., has been destroyed by fire.

Crews were called to a fire at the pharmacy in the southern Saskatchewan town at around 5 p.m. CT on Sunday.

Members of the Bengough Volunteer Fire Department were not able to save the building, which burned until early Monday morning.

There are no reports of any injuries.

The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.

The drug store was one of the main businesses in the small town of roughly 330 people.

The Pharmasave in Radville is offering to help fill prescriptions from Bengough Drugs customers until the pharmacy is back up and running.

Bengough is approximately 150 kilometres south of Regina.
