Ottawa police are investigating the stabbing death of a 55-year old man in the city’s west end on Thursday evening.
It happened outside a residence on Rosenthal Avenue in the Carlington neighbourhood shortly after 6 p.m.

Paramedics said the man was taken to hospital in critical condition.
He later died of his injuries.
The Ottawa police major crime unit is investigating.
Police have not released the victim’s name or any information about a possible suspect or suspects.
