He faces one charge of second-degree murder in relation to the death of Pierre Kkailther. On April 29, 2015, officers were called to a business in La Ronge where the 50-year-old man was found dead.

Preliminary investigation led police to believe the death was suspicious in nature.

“No matter how many weeks, months or years pass, an unsolved case, or a case where charges are not yet laid, is never closed,” said Staff Sgt. Dale Rockel, with the RCMP major crime unit north.
