RCMP are asking for the public’s help to find a thief who stole hundreds of dollars worth of meat from the Co-op grocery store in High River.

Police said a man entered the store and proceeded to fill a shopping cart with approximately $500 worth of meat products at around 3:15 p.m. on Saturday Sept. 17.

They said the man then opened a box of black garbage bags and put all the meat into one of the bags before leaving the store on a silver and red bicycle.

The next day, Mounties said the same man came into the Co-op again and tried to steal over $600 worth of meat and seafood at 10:45 a.m.
