Several surveillance videos and locks were not enough to deter three thieves from breaking into a community shed.
The theft happened during the early morning hours of Sept. 16 in Citadel Park in the northwest.
“They were very determined and they came back a number of times. They couldn’t get through the locks so they came back and got some wrenches to get the hinges off the door,” Chris Shelver, with the Citadel Community Association, said.

“The rinks are run by volunteers. It’s a community area, it’s for the youth and it’s going to affect them.”
The community association plans on fundraising but if they can’t come up with the money the rinks may remained closed this winter.
